Michigan Snowmobile Accident Award

Posted on Feb 05, 2008
A snowmobiler who suffered serious brain injuries in a 1996 snowmobile accident had his damage award of $10.2 million dollars upheld by a Federal Appeals court.  The award was against another snowmobiler and the U.S. Forest Park Service for failing to fix dangerous conditions on a path.  The service also failed to award snowmobilers of the hazards in the area.
