Grand Rapids Car Accident Lawyers | Winter Weather Car Accidents

Posted on Feb 15, 2009
I recently read an article about an increase in Grand Rapids car accidents this year.  This winter, there has been 100 inches of snowfall to date, which has caused an increase in winter weather car accidents.  The all-time record for snowfall in the Grand Rapids area occurred in the winter of 1951-1952 when 138 inches of snow fell.

The amount of snow this year has contributed to higher numbers of weather-related car accidents.  There is still plenty of snow, ice, and cold temperatures ahead of us during the remaining months of winter, and I encourage all drivers to take extra caution while driving in adverse weather conditions.
