Fatal Car Accident Settlement - Michigan Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Posted on Nov 24, 2009A Michigan car accident that resulted in fatal injuries to the victim recently settled for $2 million. The suit alleged that the defendant ran a red light and crashed into the other vehicle. The defendant contended that he had a medical condition that caused him to be suddenly incapacitated just before the accident. However, independent witness testimony did not support this contention. The wrongful death lawsuit was settled prior to a trial.
