Bay County Medical Malpractice Verdict - Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Posted on Feb 05, 2010A Bay County jury recently awared $1.4 million in a medical malpractice lawsuit. The trial lasted three weeks and involved three different doctors. The jury found that one of the doctors was negligent in his treatment of a forty-nine year old man. Them man was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and later died from the condition. The suit alleged that the doctors were commited medical malpractice in the diagnosis and treatment of the condition. Damages were awarded under the Michigan Wrongful Death laws. It is unknown whether an appeal will be filed.
