West Michigan Golf Car Accident Lawsuit Settles

We recently settled a golf car accident case for $400,000 in Allegan County for our client who suffered serious back and neck injuries after being struck by a golf cart in a gated West Michigan Community.  The golf cart was privately owned and was being driven by the minor son of the owner.  He was driving through the gated community streets and struck our client, a pedestrian, who was on an evening stroll.  She required surgery for her injuries and has suffered disability as a result of the accident.

Golf carts are fun to drive but too often people forget that they are large, heavy motorized vehicles that can travel and decent speeds.  Being struck by a golf cart can cause serious and permanent injuries.  Other injuries occur when the golf cart tips due to instability, the angle of a cart path, or due to driver error.  Quite often, a victim injured in a golf cart accident has the legal right to be compensated for injuries suffered in the accident.  It is important to contact an attorney familiar with these cases to achieve the best possible result.
