SMART Bus Lawsuit Filed for Injury On Detroit Bus - No Fault Benefits

Comments (0)
We recently filed bus accident lawsuit on behalf of a woman who was a passenger on a SMART bus in the City of Detroit.  After just getting on the bus, the bus driver accelerated suddenly and caused her to fall before she could sit down.  She suffered a broken hand as a result.

SMART refused to compensate her for her injuries and has not paid her claims for Michigan no-fault insurance benefits.  These include medical expenses, lost wages, attendant care services, and replacment service benefits.  The case is pending in the Wayne County Circuit Court.
