Our Michigan car accident lawyers recently filed a lawsuit against State Farm Automobile Insurance Company for unpaid no fault insurance benefits. The suit was filed on behalf of a Holly, Michigan woman who sustained a serious back injury while exiting out from her car in July 2009. Under the Michigan No Fault Insurance laws, the insurance company is required to pay her benefits even though she was not in a car accident or driving at the time of her injury.
The lawsuit claims past due Michigan no-fault benefits for wage loss benefits, attendant care, and household services which have been provided to her since her injury. The lawsuit was filed in Wayne County Circuit Court. No trial date has been set by the court.
For more information about your rights after a Michigan car accident, you should request our book "The Ultimate Michigan Car Accident Handbook," written by Lawrence J. Buckfire. It has been called "the best book ever written for consumers on their rights after a Michigan car accident." The book sells for $14.95 on Amazon but we will send it to you for FREE.
