Michigan Car Accident Victim Awarded For Carpel Tunnel Syndrome Injuries

An independent arbitration panel recently awarded a total of $84,250.00 to a woman injured in a Canton, Michigan car accident.  Our client suffered carpal tunnel syndrome and other injuries in the accident and subsequently was approved for Social Security Disability benefits.  Her own insurance company, AAA, terminated her medical benefits and other no-fault insurance benefits after they had her examined by an insurance company doctor.   

A lawsuit was filed in the Wayne County Circuit Court against AAA Insurance for unpaid no-fault insurance benefits and uninsured motorists benefits.  The insurance company agreed to submit the case to binding arbitration for both claims.  The panel listened to the evidence and awarded our client the insurance benefits under her policy
