Dog Bite Lawyer Files Michigan Lawsuit For Bite on Child’s Face

Our dog bite lawyers recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a three year old boy who was bitten on the face by a dog in Ingham County.  The pit-bull dog was owned by the neighbor of a family friend.  The family was having a barbecue when the bite occurred.

The child has permanent facial scaring as a result of the vicious dog bite attack.  A plastic surgeon will be necessary for scar revision.  The suit was filed in the Ingham County Circuit Court in Lansing, Michigan.  No date has been set for a jury trial in this matter.

Many of times facial scarring due to dog bite injuries and attacks have a significant psychological effect on the child and self-esteem issues often arise, especially because many children often tease or ridicule another child with an observable scar.
