Bowel Perforations, Bowel Ruptures, Bowel Obstructions, & Medical Malpractice Claims

Comments (0)
I have recently reviewed several medical malpractice cases involving ruptured and perforated bowels that have resulted in signifcant injuries to the patient.  If a bowel perforation or ruptured bowel is not tiemly diagnosed and treated, it can result in sepsis which can lead to death.  Certain signs and symptoms are consistent with bowel injuries and hospitals and doctors are trained to make these diagnosis.  The failure to do so can result in a medical malpractice lawsuit.
