When I call their office, I speak to the personal injury lawyer handling the case, not a paralegal or law clerk. This alone clearly separates them from 90% of other law firms handling injury cases.

What are Michigan No-Fault Benefits?
Every driver in the State of Michigan is required to have an automobile insurance policy with no-fault benefits. If the driver is injured in an accident, regardless of which party was at fault for the accident, the injured driver is entitled to no-fault benefits. These benefits include reimbursement for lost wages during periods of disability, payment of medical expenses, and other attendant care and replacement services.
Our book, "The Ultimate Michigan Car Accident Handbook," explains these benefits to you and answers the most frequently asked questions on this complex insurance law.
Replacement service benefits are for services provided by another for chores that the injured person had done for himself previously, such as cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. Attendant care services are required when an injured person requires someone to assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, medication, etc.). Both of these services can be provided by a family member and that person is entitled to compensation.
Other injury victims are also entitled to no-fault benefits. These include passengers of vehicles involved in an accident and pedestrians who are struck by motor vehicles. People who are injured while getting into or out of their car can also claim these benefits. There is a complex system of determining whose insurance policy an injured passenger or pedestrian makes a claim against. Therefore, an attorney should be contacted immediately regarding these benefits because claims must be filed in a timely fashion.
Many Michigan car insurance companies either reject valid claims for no-fault benefits or fail to advise the injured person of the various benefits available under the policy. Insurance companies also send the injury victim to their own doctors who then advise the insurer to cut benefits. In many cases, a lawsuit must be filed against the insurer to compel it to pay the victim’s benefits.
We won settlements and jury verdicts have forced insurance companies to pay our clients’ No-Fault benefits for numerous types of injuries, including:
· Paralysis/Spinal Cord Injuries
· Back Injuries/Herniated Disks
· Nerve Injuries
· Should Injuries/Rotator Cuff
· Leg and Knee Injuries
Each state has a statute of limitations which is essentially a deadline for filing cases. The statute of limitations for these cases varies from state to state so injured individuals should contact Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. immediately. The State of Michigan has strict deadlines for filing claims and lawsuits. Our office will start working on your case immediately and begin gathering the evidence to prove and win your case.
