Peanut butter appears to be the source of the recent salmonella poisoning outbreak that has hit several states. Peanut Butter Corporation of America has recalled the peanut butter made in its Georgia Plant. Numerous serious illnesses have been reported from the salmonella poisoning and as many as five people are believed to have died from salmonella related illness. Those injured as a result of this salmonella outbreak should keep any containers of the peanut butter and contact an attorney immediately.
