A lawsuit filed on behalf of for a passenger in a car driven by the defendant driver who admitted to being 90 percent at fault for the car accident in deposition. The Michigan car accident took place at the corner of 13 mile and Lahser roads in Beverly Hills. The car that the passenger was in was making a left hand turn from southbound Lahser onto 13 mile where the driver collided with another car heading northbound on Lahser.
The plaintiff sought damages from insurance policy limits due to injuries caused from the car accidents. The plaintiff's suffered pelvis and hip fractures that required surgery and left him cane dependent and needing attendant care. The lawsuit was a confidential third-party auto negligence suit and was filed in the Oakland County Circuit Court. The suit settled for $770,000.
