Michigan Uninsured Motorists Claims Decision

The Michigan Supreme Court ruled last week that car insurance companies can limit the time period for filing uninsured motorist claims. The judges overturned longstanding precedent as has become a custom in Michigan to enable insurance companies to win their cases. Anyone injured by a driver who was uninsured at the time of the accident should call a lawyer immediately to avoid having their case dismissed.
