Liposuction Medical Malpractice Verdict

A liposuction medical malpractice case has resulted in a $20.5 milllion jury verdict in favor of the family of the 18 year old patient who died during the procedure.  The family sued the surgeon and anesthesiologist under the Wrongful Death Act.  A substantial portion of the verdict was for punitive damages.
