U.S. Safety Officials have recalled the popular Aqua Dots bead toy due to chldren becoming comatose after swallowing the toy. There is apparently a chemical in the toy similiar to the "date rape drug" that can cause significant harm if ingested by a child. The toy, manufactured in China, is being recalled from store shelves. Parents who already have the toy in their home are encouraged to return it to the store of purchase or remove it from the home. For children over the age of four playing with the toy, parents are encouraged to closely supervise children using the beads.
