Veterans Administration Hospital Medical Malpractice Lawsuit

Michigan Medical Malpractice lawyer Lawrence J. Buckfire recently filed a lawsuit against the Ann Arbor Veterans Administration Hospital. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a disabled Vietnam veteran who suffered serious and permanent injuries due to negligent medical treatment at the VA hospital. The patient was given a contrast during a testing procedure which caused him to code and go into cardiac arrest. He suffered both physical and neurological injuries as a result of this complication.

The VA medical malpractice lawsuit alleges that the hospital and treating physicians failed to take the necessary precautionary measures to prevent serious injury or harm during this procedure. Additionally, the suit contends that the test should not have been administered in the first place due to the pre-existing medical conditions of the patient.
