Walk Held For Victims of Dog Bite Attacks

Comments (1)

Our Michigan dog bite injury lawyers represent victims who have suffered serious injuries from a dog attack. These injuries include physicla injuries, such as disfigurement, maiming, or nerve damage, as well as psychological injuries. Our Buckfire Law attorneys understand the seriousness of a dog bite attack and the traumatic results that can arise.

As a resource to victims of dog bites and attacks, we would like our clients to be aware of a "Walk for Victims of Pit Bulls and Other Dangerous Dogs" being held on Saturday, October 27th in Tuscon, AZ. The walk is held to support victims of dog bite attacks and is a new concept as there has not yet been a walk for victims of dog bite attacks. The walk itself is being organized by local grassroots activists with hopes to raise awareness in the community of the dangers associated with vicious dogs. For more information on the walk , visit http://walkforvictimsofpitbulls.blogspot.com/  The event begins at 12:00 noon and admission is free.

According to dogsbite.org, victims of serious dog attacks often suffer acute damage, which may require $250,000 to one million dollars in specialized medical care treatment. Reconstructive surgery, such as skin grafting, tissue expansion and scar diminishment often require multiple surgeries over a period of years. Statistics have proven that Pit Bull Terriers and Rottweiler's are the most dangerous dog breeds, showing that during the 7-year period from 2005 to 2011, these two breeds accounted for 74% of the total recorded fatal attacks.

Victims of dog bite injuries and attacks do have legal rights. If you, your child, or a family member suffer injuries from a Michigan dog attack, call our office immediately at (800) 606-1717 to discuss your rights with one of our experienced Michigan dog bite injury lawyers. We will represent you under our No Fee Promise, meaning you do not pay any legal fees until we win or settle your case, and will start working on your dog bite lawsuit immediately gathering all the evidence and witness statement to win your case.
