Uninsured Motorists Lawsuit Filed Against AAA For Michigan Auto Accident

Our auto accident attorneys recently filed a personal injury lawsuit on behalf of a Farmington Hills man who was injured in an automobile accident in Oak Park, Michigan.  The negligent driver rear ended his car when he slowed down in heavy traffic.  His vehicle suffered significant damage in the accident.  Then negligent driver was issued a traffic citation by the police.

Our client suffered serious injuries to his neck and back which will require surgery in the near future.  He has been disabled as a result of the accident and his disability will continue even after his upcoming surgery.  His No-Fault Insurance benefits have been paid by AAA, his own auto insurance company.  This includes benefits for lost wages, medical expenses, attendant care services, and replacement services.

The negligent driver did not have an auto insurance policy on the car to make a claim against for the injuries suffered in the accident.  Fortunately, our client had uninsured motorists coverage through AAA  on his own vehicle.  Because he had this coverage, we filed an uninsured motorists benefits lawsuit against AAA insurance.  There has been no trial date set by the court.
