Sync Reduces Michigan Car Accidents

A new study shows that the hands-free music and phone service Sync reduces car accidents.  This latest test confirms results of earlier studies and shows that across the board using a hands-free device such as Sync greatly reduces the chances of getting in a car accident.

This study required participants to perform seven typical tasks using both Sync and handheld devices like cell phones and their car radios.  In every instance, the driver took his or her eyes off the road for less time and moved less within their lane when using Sync than when not using it.

The tested activities included dialing a ten-digit number, calling a specific person from the digital phonebook, receiving a call while driving, playing a specific song, and reviewing and responding to a text message while driving.

The Michigan car accident lawyers at Buckfire & Buckfire strongly support safety measures that successfully reduce the number of car accidents.  While we are always ready to handle claims arising out of car accidents, we encourage everyone to increase their knowledge of car safety features so they can make an informed decision while buying car insurance.  Buying the proper car insurance can have a significant impact not just on how much an accident victim will be able to recover but also on whether an accident victim will be able to receive a settlement at all.  Because of the importance of buying the proper amount and type of insurance, Michigan car accident attorney Daniel Buckfire has published a Michigan Car Insurance Report, which is available for FREE for a limited time.
