Our Michigan swimming pool lawyers recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a two year old girl who climbed into a pool in the backyard of a home owned by a friend of the family. The minor was submersed under water for an unspecified amount of time.
The St. Clair Shores Fire Department revived the minor at the scene. She has since been diagnosed with catastrophic brain injuries that have left her unable to walk, talk or otherwise communicate. There is an ongoing criminal investigation of the incident. No date has been set for a jury trial in this matter.
