Our Ottawa County Dog Bite lawyer recently settled a lawsuit on behalf of a two year old girl who was bitten on the face by a dog owned by a family friend. The minor plaintiff sustained lacerations to the cheek area. Sutures were used for repair of the lacerations. No plastic surgery was recommended. The claim was made agaisnt the dog owner. The dog owner's insurance company paid a settlement of $47,000 to the child.
