No Fault Lawsuit Filed Against SAFECO Insurance - Wage Loss Benefits

We recently filed a No-Fault Insurance lawsuit against SAFECO Insurance company on behalf of a client who suffered a concussion and a neck injury in a Detroit car accident.  She has been unable to work as a result of the injuries suffered in the accident and is expected to have continuing disability.  Her insurance company, SAFECO, unlawfully terminated her wage loss benefits.

We filed her lawsuit in the Waynce County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan.  The suit seeks payment of all back wage loss benefits and other benefits due and owing under the Michigan No-Fault laws.  The suit also seeks payment of attorney's fees and interest penalties due to the improper termination of benefits.  No trial date has been set by the court.
