Michigan Drunk Driving Accident Lawyer Receives News That Drunk Driving Fatalities Have Decreased

Our Michigan drunk driving accident lawyers are pleased to announce the exciting news they received from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) this morning. Drunk driving fatalities have dropped to their lowest level on record!

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drunk driving fatalities have dropped to 10,839 deaths in 2009, a decrease of seven percent! What this means for MADD, is their efforts have not gone unnoticed or to waste. In fact, this decline means that deaths have been cut by about half from when MADD was founded 30 years ago and by almost twenty percent from when the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving started just four years ago. That means 300,000 lives were saved!

The Michigan drunk driving accident attorneys of Buckfire & Buckfire support MADD with all of their efforts and will continue to be a proud supporter of the organization. We see the outcome of car accidents everyday through out clients and know how serious the injuries caused from those accidents can be. Drunk driving is a serious crime and knowing that the number of drunk driving fatalities is decreasing is great news.

Victims of drunk drivers due have legal rights. If you or a family member suffer injuries due to a Michigan drunk driving motor vehicle accident, contact our office now at (800) 606-1717 to speak with an experienced attorney about your case.
