Our
Michigan car accident lawyers recently obtained a $100,000 settlement for a woman who suffered serious hip injuries in a
Detroit car accident. We had previously won her a $100,000 settlement from another insurance company for a different negligent driver. The case settled before a trial in the Wayne County Circuit Court.
Our client's injuries included a right acetabular fracture requiring surgery. She had a subsequent seperation of the hardware fixing the original acetabular fracture and later a removal of a portion of the right hip and inability to walk or function normally. Multiple hip surgeries and hip replacements that have been failed as her body has rejected the hardware due to her condition of diabetes.
These settlements do not include her claims for wage loss, medical expenses, attendant care services, and other benefits under the Michigan No Fault Insurance laws. Her insurance company continues to pay these benefits.
