A
Michigan birth injury case recently settled for
$975,000 for a child who suffers from
cerebral palsy and othe cognitive delays and deficits. The suit alleged that the OBGYN and medical providers should have performed delivery of the baby at least a week earlier than the actual delivery date. Because this was not done, the baby suffered fetal distress which led to brain damage and cerebral palsy.
