We recently filed a lawsuit against Meijer in the Oakland County Circuit Court in a case involving our client who was seriously injured at the Meijer store in Commerce Township, Michigan. The injury occurred when Meijer employee was transporting a cart of wooden palettes in the store and struck our client, knocking her to the ground. As a result, she injured her back and required a fusion surgery.
The suit alleges that the Meijer employee was negligent and caused the injuries to our client. It seeks damages for her pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and medical expenses related to her treatment and surgery. No trial date has been set.
