Medical Malpractice Attorney Files Grand Rapids Lawsuit

Our Michigan medical malpractice attorney recently filed a malpractice lawsuit on behalf of our client who had to undergo a second surgery due to the negligence of a Grand Rapids surgeon. The medical malpractice lawsuit was filed against the Grand Rapids surgeon in the Kent County Circuit Court.

Our client originally went into surgery to have a non-malignant tumor removed from the face. During the procedure, a facial nerve was cut which caused partial facial paralysis to the patient. To improve the condition, the patient underwent a second surgery but unfortunately still suffers from partial facial paralysis.

The malpractice sut seeks damages for the personal injuries as well as reimbursement of the medical expenses for the follow up surgical care. No trial date has been set by the court.
