Comments (0)

The family of a woman who died during a gall bladder surgery in Gratiot County, Michigan was recently awarded a jury verdict of $1.8 million in a medical malpractice and wrongful death lawsuit.  The jury found the surgeon was negligent for clipping a hepatic duct during the laparascopic procedure and this caused her death.  The woman lived for four months after the surgery and died of sepsis.
