We recently settled a
dog bite lawsuit for a young woman who suffered injuries to her face and eye after being bitten by her friend's dog. She was a guest in her friend's West Bloomfield home when the incident occurred. The dog bite victim required two surgical procedures as a result of the bite and fortunately did not have any impairments to her vision as result of her injuries.
The homeowner's insurance company for the dog owner paid the settlement of $50,000, which included reimbursement of medical expenses.
Dog bite victims in Michigan do have legal rights to seek money damages against the owner, keeper, or harborer of a dog that attacks them.
The laws in Michigan hold the dog owner liable for the injuries caused in a dog bite attack. For more information on these cases, request our FREE book, "
The Ultimate Michigan Dog Bite & Animal Attack Handbook."
We'll send it out to you immediately.
