Deerfield Towsnhip Car Accident | Michigan Wrongful Death Lawyer

Morgan Dingus was killed in a fatal Deerfield Township car accident at the intersection of North Branch Road and Booth Road on Wednesday night, November 16 around 8:30 p.m. According to police, Dingus was traveling westbound on North Branch Road when she was struck by a vehicle that ran a stop sign. The two vehicles were thrown off the roadway and ended up landing on a homeowner's lawn. The driver of the other vehicle suffers serious injuries. Alcohol may be a factor in this car accident.

I am very sorry to hear about this fatal accident. My condolences go out to the families of the deceased victim and hope the injured victim has a fast recovery.

Our Michigan car accident attorneys advise victims of their legal rights. For this type of car accident, the family members of the deceased may have a claim for a Michigan wrongful death lawsuit if the police conclude that the driver was negligent and caused the accident.

If alcohol is considered to be factor of the negligent driver's behavior, another possible claim for the family of the deceased victim may be a Michigan dram shop case against the seller or furnisher of the alcohol before the accident. At the very least, they should hire the best possible lawyer to look into these possibilities.

The injured driver in the auto accident may be able to submit a claim for Michigan No-Fault insurance benefits.  No-fault benefits will cover their medical expenses, lost wages, attendant, replacement services, and other benefits related to injuries suffered in the accident. The injured victim can claim these benefits even if they did not have a Michigan automobile insurance policy.
