We recently filed an
assault and battery lawsuit against a bar and a bouncer for serious injuries caused to our client. Our client was a patron at the bar when he was physically picked up by the bouncer and thrown outside the bar. He suffered a signifiant
leg fracture that required surgery as a result.
The lawsuit seeks damages against the bar owner and the bouncer for these injuries. The bar owner is liable under Michigan law for the acts of the bouncer. The suit was filed in the Wayne County Circuit Court and is currently pending. It seeks compensation for the injuries as well as payment of medical expenses.
