Our Michigan personal injury lawyers recently filed a lawsuit against a Canton restaurant on behalf of a client who suffered a
partial amputation injury of a finger due to a defective chair at the restaurant. The client was a diner in the restaurant and severed his finger on a chair that was in disrepair and in a dangerous condition. He underwent surgery to repair the finger but the top portion of the finger could not be surgically re-attached.
The lawsuit was filed in the Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit, Michigan. It seeks damages for pain and suffering, disfigurement, and disability caused by the injury. It also seeks payment of medical expeneses incurred for the treatment and rehabilitation of the injury.
