$1,000,000 For Michigan Bicycle Accident Victim Hit By Car

Our bicycle accident lawyers recently obtained a $1,000,000 Judgment for our client who suffered catastrophic injuries in a Monroe County bicycle accident.  The defendant driver was traveling at a high rate of speed in excess of the speed limit and struck our client and others traveling on the shoulder of the road.

She was taken to a local hospital for her injuries and treatment. Her injuries included a traumatic brain injury, a bilateral-acetabulum fracture with a pelvic fracture, a non-displaced impaction fracture of the lateral tibia plateau and avulsion of the lateral capsular ligament adjacent to the fracture; a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament; a grade II medial collateral ligament (MCL); and a suprapatellar effusion.

She required a complete knee reconstruction to repair her damaged knee.  She had a significant and extended period of recovery and incurred substantial medical expenses, which were paid by the No Fault Insurance company.
